Discover the Stories that History Tried to Bury
"I tell the stories that history almost buried — the ones where the official record ends and the questions don't. Sometimes that's a woman murdered in 1904 whose husband's confession cleared someone who was never charged. Sometimes it's a colony that disappeared without a trace in 1590. Sometimes it's a nation that fought a war to end slavery and then spent a hundred years pretending it had been about something else. The common thread is that in all of these stories, something happened that the world is still not finished reckoning with. That's what makes a place haunted. That's what makes an era haunted. That's what I find interesting."

Is this a haunted house, with jump scares?
No. This is an atmospheric, narrative-driven presentation — lantern light and true stories, not actors leaping out of the dark. The intensity is emotional, not startling.
Is it appropriate for children?
Given the emotionally intense subject matter — including execution and persecution — this presentation is best suited for older children (8-12), teens and adults. If you're considering it for a younger guest, please reach out first so we can help you decide.
How historical is it, really?
We fact-check every story we tell and are always honest about what is documented versus legend. History is subjective at times. Although we strive to be as accurate as possible... some things are viewed through different lenses. This is history first — the atmosphere serves the truth, not the other way around.
What if the weather turns?
In house presentations are held on schedule. Outdoor walking tours are held unless there is lightning in the area. If you do you wish to attend due to inclement weather, we are happy to refund your ticket price or re-book you for a different date.
